B2B Outdoor Industry Sustainability Report and Webinar

Compose[d] Creative is a digital strategy and creative services agency. As a certified B Corporation, they also have a demonstrated professional and personal interest in the outdoors and sustainability. I worked with Compose[d] to investigate how outdoors brands advertise their sustainability efforts, with varying degrees of sincerity.

I created a B2B report on innovations in sustainability in the outdoor industry and how brands communicate these efforts. I conducted preliminary on-site interviews with brands and experts at Outdoor Retailer. I continued these preliminary efforts with desk research that included scouring brand websites, press releases, and emissions and sustainability reports. After identifying leaders in the space, I continued my research with targeted Zoom and phone interviews with founders, sustainably experts, engineers, and communications leads.
Finally, I worked with Compose[d]’s team of sustainability and communications experts to create a report analyzing these efforts, celebrating the successes, and giving actionable advice on how other companies could adopt these practices to increase the effectiveness of their sustainability efforts. At the release of the report, I presented our findings in a webinar with Snowsports Industries America and answered live questions from industry experts.
