The Next Renaissance: AI and the Expansion of Human Potential
Technical Editor and Content Head
Translated Kass’s AI area expertise into a compelling and easy to understand narrative.
I collaborated with Zack Kass on The Next Renaissance: AI and the Expansion of Human Potential, shaping the book’s core narrative, structure, and voice. Working across research, writing, and editorial development, I helped translate Kass’s novel ideas, like unmetered intelligence and the intellectual K-curve, and complex industry concepts like agentic systems, alignment and safety, and the transformer architecture, into a clear, compelling story about how AI came to fruition and how it will reshape industries, institutions, and individual agency.
The process involved synthesizing cutting-edge developments in AI with historical context and forward-looking insight, while maintaining a grounded and optimistic tone. The result of this work is a narrative to help explain not only what is coming, but to help readers, including those completely unfamiliar with AI, understand their place alongside AI today, and in a near future.
Editor for the first book from Zack Kass, AI advisor and OpenAI's former Head of Go-to-Market. Kass played a key role in commercializing AI and large language models, channeling OpenAI’s innovative research into tangible business solutions, and currently advises executives deploying AI across industries.
I similarly supported Zack Kass with his content strategy in the lead up to the book launch including research papers, Medium content and blogs, content strategy, and media communications.
“A refreshing, well-crafted treatise on the many possible good things that thinking machines can bring.”
